Charles and I are taking Gertrude out Saturday night. The weather has finally changed so we are going to sail her off shore through the night to get some practice. The winds look to be 10-15 knots (not that exciting) and the waves are 2-3 feet. Perfect for me after suffering from sea sickness (I bought a Relief Band...more on that later).
We will take her about 10 miles off shore and sail her in a giant circle. Not as romantic as sailing her to the Bahamas, but its a good start! We will keep you posted!
